What is covered inside the Academy?
Learn Christmas Lighting Academy includes everything that you need to know to create a Christmas Light show - to music or simply animated - from "step zero" to completion.
Our courses focus on using "pixels" (color-changing individual Christmas lights), but many of the concepts can be applied to a conventional-light display or a display that is a mix of both.
Why is the cost "Yearly" or "Quarterly" instead of one-time?
When it came down to charging a one-time fee vs. a yearly cost, there were a few reasons why I wanted to keep it yearly:
1) Low initial cost - it's not going to cost you a ton to get in and get the information you need for your first display.
2) Keeping it Up-To-Date: The software and gear in this hobby are often updated, and making this a yearly subscription allows me the ability to keep the courses completely up-to-date.
3) Support in our forums: Perhaps the most important reason is that a yearly cost allows you to get support and help - anytime - in our private, curated forums!
Do I need to have lights already?
Nope! In fact, if you're not sure what you need, we'll guide you through exactly that! Many members find it's best to join first, learn, and then buy what you actually need!

Are one-to-one calls included in the price?
Members have the ability to add paid calls via Zoom for 1-to-1 instruction for $50 for a 1-hour call. They can be a great way to get some focused learning in a short time, but do understand that we can't include them for free :)
How long does the $1 trial last?
